The Coach and Horses is an unspoiled, genuine Freehouse situated in the stunning Hampshire countryside. It boasts a lovely South-facing garden to the rear, overlooking tranquil farmland.

The Coach Situated in the heart of the quintessentially English village of Rotherwick, the pub attracts loyal following of local shooting parties, farmers, ramblers, dog walkers and of course many who stroll across the fields from nearby Hook. It is a place where people come together to celebrate – either formal occasions such as small wedding receptions, funeral wakes, birthday parties and corporate functions – or just to celebrate the joy of living, working or playing in the English countryside.

The keenly priced menu is put together using local suppliers where possible, and we are particularly proud to serve quality meat from Graves, the village butcher in Hook.

An ever changing range of Ales are always on tap, from local breweries such as Longdog, Flower Pots, Triple FFF, Andwell and Hogsback, to name but a few.

This is an unpretentious pub, offering good old-fashioned hospitality. The friendly staff and locals (and, in cold weather, a large open fireplace and wood burning stove) guarantee a warm welcome to this ‘proper pub’ every time.
